Prince Harry recently denied reports of a divorce in the face of criticism regarding his working relationship with his wife, Meghan Markle, which one insider described as being in a “very bad state.” Since then, a buddy has shared their dynamic in an attempt to shed light on the matter.
Citing Prince Harry’s unresolved U.S. visa concerns and stories of their desire in buying property in Portugal, royal author Angela Levin conjectured about possible strains in their working relationship.
“I wonder whether it’s in a very horrible situation,” Levin said. “They say they’re going to work separately, and then they say they’re purchasing a house in Portugal—you don’t do that if you don’t want to split for most of the time. They must be attempting to figure something out, though.
Levin’s comments highlight the continuous debate about the changing dynamic between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, especially as they strike a balance between their individual and joint responsibilities.
A buddy earlier referred to this change as a “twin-track approach” during an interview. While Markle is gravitating toward business and entrepreneurial interests, Prince Harry is nonetheless committed to charitable work.
“An entrepreneurial and enterprise focus is going to be more the Duchess’s priority, and the Duke will continue to champion his not-for-profit patronages,” said a friend. The couple is supposed to work together on common, cause-driven projects in spite of their separate interests.
Markle and The Archewell Foundation recently threw a Thanksgiving dinner for the Southern California Welcome Project as part of their dedication to community-focused initiatives.
This program provides safe spaces and storytelling to Afghan women who have been relocated in the United States. The gathering, which took place at Our Place, included a shared dinner, thought-provoking discussions, and cookware presents.
